Didn’t really need to buy the shipping insurance but I did since it was coming from Canada to the US. Reasonable enough for peace of mind. Received the machine in great shape and as described. I would by from them again."

Solid, consistant quality grind coffee

"I’ve been really happy with the DF64 Gen 2 (Black). It feels like a “serious” grinder the moment you take it out of the box—solid, heavy, and built like it’s meant to stay put on the counter. Highlights: Heavy, sturdy build: The weight and overall construction give it a premium, stable feel during grinding. Nothing about it feels flimsy or toy-like. Great single-dose workflow: Easy to weigh, grind, and move on. It fits nicely into a daily routine without being annoying. The noise is a plus (for me): It has that strong, mechanical “coffee shop” sound. Personally, I like it—it makes the grinder feel powerful and intentional, not delicate. Good grinder

"Good grinder. I however received a white grinder (as ordered) but with a black dosing cup. Would have liked to have the white cup as advertised. The DF64s do choke up in the chute area after a few weeks of use, esp. if using oily beans, important to do thorough cleaning. Otherwise a good product."

Great grinder

"I replaced my old 54mm espresso grinder after a few days of trialing this one. I wasn’t convinced it would be much better but in addition to better consistency, it simplified my work flow. It’s a little more higher pitched but grinds so fast its not much of a bother to me."

Solid grinder

"The Gen 2 DF64 is a really solid grinder overall. A little loud, but manages to grind pretty fast. Burrs were aligned well, and retention is much improved compared to earlier revisions of this machine."
