"This is my first coffee grinder over $300, and I think it's pretty good for single-serve shots. However, if you're a beginner like me, you should start grinding at 21, otherwise you'll clog the burrs and have to start cleaning it with a vacuum cleaner and the brush that comes with it."

The results are night and day, and its not like im upgrading from a blade grinder. I love the weight and feel of the machine. Its heavy, and solid, and feels like it could handle the job before you even turn it on. It’s relatively quiet and the grinds are incredibly uniform. The bellows make for near zero retention. I love it and will cherish it. Ive only done espresso so far and there is a huge difference in flavors and mouth feel. The results are extremely high end. Shipping time and ordering we’re efficient and easy with Home Coffee Solutions. So happy i ordered it. It punches way above its price point."

"The stemless adjustment is great. My previous grinder was an aromaster from Amazon and this one has much better usability. The grind consistency is really good, I’m pulling the same shot every time. The bellows and the weight of it and the low volume level are all plus’s for me. Also looks great on the counter. The first thing I’ll be upgrading is the little plastic cup though."
D54 Clogging issues. . Horrible return policy
"Clogging issues even with medium roast at courser grind. . almost every time! Have to take apart, and dig out. HCS won’t honour a return on the faulty product w/o me paying for shipping and a restocking fee. Sure this review will be culled, but. . Don’t bye from these people!"
I was told the grinder
"I was told the grinder was the most important piece of espresso making equipment and i now believe it. The DF54 has greatly improved the taste of my coffee. I use oily beans so it does clog and after my first cleaning the static has greatly increased, not sure why."
