"This grinder is a vast improvement over my 1st gen Rocky. It’s quieter, faster and the grind quality is great. I had no problems dialing it in for my Silvia Pro. Close to and sometimes zero retention. Hot start seems to be the way to go to avoid jamming. Easy to disassemble for cleaning and adjustment. Seems well built and looks great on the counter. Would recommend."
"Great results - very low retention grinder that I use for espresso. Shots are consistent and better than before. Precise dialing-in with step less control. Grinds are uniform and no clumping like my old Rocky. A great upgrade for me. Grinds very fast and not that loud and I grind without the rubber baffle and wooden lid. Footprint is slightly smaller than my rocky and without my baffle, much shorter. It fits my Acacia small dosing cup. I like the contrasting stainless steel look over the black DF dosing cup. My burrs were perfectly aligned out of the box so no adjustment needed. I would highly recommend especially at this price point."
"I came from a breville grinder so this is a massive upgrade. Everything is made from quality parts, dialing in is straight forward and pretty consistent. Some retention but maybe . 1-. 7g at most. My new favorite item in my coffee setup!"
"Very satisfied with grind quality"
"Works well, as advertised. Fast delivery."
"Works well. No issues"
"Big step up from my baratza ESP. Grind range excellent for expresso"
"This feels like a well tuned piece of machinery. Hefty and pretty durn quiet, its uber-fine adjustability enables me to dial in my shots light years ahead of my sub-$100 grinder that was replaced. I should have upgraded this LONG ago. Next comes the espresso machine itself. :-)"
"Great machine. Grinds are very consistent and not clumpy. Retention is near zero. Looks great and love the smallish footprint. Sellers system was seamless with adequate communication. Didn’t really need to buy the shipping insurance but I did since it was coming from Canada to the US. Reasonable enough for peace of mind. Received the machine in great shape and as described. I would by from them again."
"I had ordered a DF 64 grinder, and when it came it made a chirping noise that I couldn’t seem to get rid of. Worked with the customer service team and tried a few things to get it working. They finally said to send the grinder back in. They discovered a defect and are replacing the grinder. Great customer service and will buy here again."
