"Made the switch from Nes to this Gaggia Magenta Plus and I will never look back. No more pods in this household. Such a great machine! Makes no fuss, quick espresso shots in a touch of a button. Just one con I noticed, the water tank is too flimsy and feels like it’s going to break if filled before putting in place. Better to just fill it using a pitcher/jug. The first machine I received was defective and was replaced with a new one. Excellent service from the team as they made the replacement process real smooth and easy."

"Realizing that very few machines can actually replace people’s skill and finesse, I still found my self expecting much more. The grinder is not capable of a fine enough grind for a good shot of espresso. The brew group being all plastic is convenient and easy to clean but can’t heat up the water enough to make a quality espresso. I did not test the milk function but I would imagine it would be as expected, low middle of the road. It is however a great size for the counter. But largely a fail as an espresso machine that is made by a company who essentially pioneered the espresso machine. I am returning it, just waiting on Customer Service to respond."
