MHW-3BOMBER YU Series Unibody Bottomless Portafilter 58mm
The MHW-3BOMBER YU Series Unibody Bottomless Portafilter is positioned by the manufacturer as the final piece of the Yu Series lineup, and its defining feature is right in the name: rather than a separate basket dropped into a portafilter body, this is a single, seamless integrated piece. Manufacturer photos show the underside up close, where 891 precision-drilled filter holes are visible across the flat base, a hole count considerably higher than most stock baskets, aimed at improving extraction efficiency across the whole puck rather than just at its center. Because the basket and portafilter are one piece, there's no basket rattle or the fitting gaps that make a traditional two-piece bottomless portafilter harder to keep clean.
Key Features
- Unibody Portafilter & Basket - One seamless piece instead of a separate basket and holder, simplifying cleaning.
- 891 Precision Filter Holes - A high hole count aimed at improving extraction efficiency.
- Straight-Sided, Flat-Bottomed Basket - Supports even puck compression and consistent extraction.
- Silicone Grip Components - Comfortable, secure handling while working the portafilter.
- 58mm Group Head Fit - Compatible with Slayer, Synesso, La Marzocco (except KB90/Strada X), Rocket, Lelit, and other commercial 58mm machines.
It's built for enthusiasts and professionals chasing a cleaner shot with less upkeep than a conventional bottomless setup.
