DIRECTIONS

Daily Procedure to Backflush Each Delivery Group

1. Remove the coffee filter from the group handle and replace it with a blind filter
2. Add 1 Espresso Clean® Cleaning Tablet into the group handle and insert as if brewing espresso
3. Start the cycle and allow it to run for 10 seconds to dissolve the cleaner
4. Stop the cycle and allow it to sit for 10 seconds
5. Start and stop the cycle 4 more times – run for 10 seconds, then stop for 10 seconds each time
6. Remove the group handle and rinse the blind filter well under a stream of water from the delivery group. Turn off
7. Re-insert the handle with the blind filter, then start and stop the cycle 10 times – run for 5 seconds, stop for 2 seconds to ensure thorough rinsing
8. Remove the blind filter and insert the regular filter
9. Brew and discard a single espresso shot to re-season the machine

Daily Procedure to Clean Filters and Group Handle

1. Dissolve 1 Espresso Clean® Cleaning Tablet in 500 mL of hot water
2. Soak group handles and filters in the solution for 10 minutes
3. Rinse thoroughly in running hot water before returning parts to service
