"We replaced our previous magnifica model which was 10 years old. Makes same great coffee and has easy to use customizable options. Descaling is a bit more complicated at first but it becomes more intuitive as you perform it. Overall it is easy to use. A great value!"

ECAM350 Descaling
"Following the step-by-step manual is a bit frustrating. It instructs you to shut off the machine and then press the okay button. Sorry fellas, it don't work with the power off. Anyway, since I'm a previous espresso machine owner I figured out how to descale the machine. I would balance the need for timely descaling and saving one's water pump, which by the way is usually the first to go on these machines.. Following the instructions as per the manual and you are pumping through 1 litre of solution followed by approx 5 litres of fresh water or more. Do this every couple of months and goodbye pump after the warranty is up. Perhaps descale as per use and water hardness or 2x a year regardless of the descaling light. I think anything more frequent and you are putting the pump under alot of stress. By the way makes a decent espresso for the money."

"Love this machine! It produces excellent espresso and beautiful flat whites. Delicious! Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean. I’m didn’t want the milk in the machine model, the frothing wand is easy to use and makes beautiful, silky froth. Still trying out different beans, being careful to only buy dry roast and avoid oily ones. So far I’ve had excellent flavour (4-5 aroma setting) with nice crema. Overall thrilled!"
